Chun Wo sponsors and attends the Sustainable Urban Infrastructure Conference 2013
Participating for the third time, Chun Wo Development Holdings Ltd (Chun Wo) will sponsor the Sustainable Urban Infrastructure Conference 31 January 2013 in Hong Kong, highlighting their technical expertise and breadth of experience in large urban infrastructure projects. As a listed company and one of Hong Kong’s oldest and most respected construction and development groups, Chun Wo’s participation reflects their elevated position in the world of Hong Kong’s construction industry and position amidst the wide range of high-level attendees that will participate in the event.
Chun Wo has worked on a number of the latest infrastructure projects in Hong Kong including the Central-Wanchai Bypass along with numerous other rail and construction projects. Of particular interest at the SUI conference is the Drainage Services Department project that will see overflow water from the hills around Hong Kong’s Happy Valley area into a massive underground storage facility underneath the world-famous Happy Valley Racecourse. This technically complex, landmark project will be discussed at the SUI Conference buy a representative from the DSD who Chun Wo is working with on the project.
Chun Wo will be joining a range of other sponsors attending the event including Philips, offering solutions in the area of low energy lighting and King & Wood Mallesons, whose construction and dispute management partner and practice lead, Paul Starr, will discuss legal challenges in infrastructure projects.
